About us
The Clark Volunteer Fire Department has been serving the Clark community since 1973, providing fire suppression and medical services for the area. We began with one fire truck in a barn donated by a local for temporary housing until Game and Fish granted the district a long-term lease to construct an official fire hall near the fish hatchery in 1975. Construction of the first fire hall was done on the weekends by members of the community either contracted or volunteering their time to help. The districts first medical unit was purchased in 1983, and after a first responder class was held at the pioneer community center, the district began responding to medical calls in the area. As the community and department’s needs began to grow, it was time to move to a new location, in 2010 the board approved construction of a new fire hall on County Road 1AB. This current facility provides our organization with the space to train and respond to community needs better than before.
Our department is operated by community volunteers from top to bottom. We are proud to serve the Clark community, and honored to receive the support that helps us grow.
